Privacy Policy

This page explains how AWS Community Romania and its co-organizing AWS User Groups (Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Chisinau) collect and use personal data submitted through this website, including event registration forms.

What we collect

When you register for an event, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your company, job title, and phone number.

How we use it

This data is used to manage your registration, send confirmation and event-related emails, and coordinate logistics with co-hosting AWS User Groups when an event is organized jointly.

Data retention

Registration data is retained for the duration of the event and a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up communication, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting contact@aws-community.ro. Event registrations can also be cancelled directly using the link included in your confirmation email.

Meetup.com

Some of our events are also listed on Meetup.com and co-hosted with AWS User Groups that maintain their own Meetup.com pages. If you RSVP or interact with an event through Meetup.com directly, that data is handled under Meetup.com's own Privacy Policy, which is separate from this one. This policy only covers data you submit directly through the registration form on this website.
